I am 4″11, and 136 pounds. I feel disgusting, and i have tried and tried to eat right but i always end up eating bad foods like cookies, bagels, dessert every night. I have been working out for about a month now but i am seeing no results. Do you think Alli is right for me? I am prepared for the side effects.

I have been taking Alli for 2 weeks. I was so afraid of the side effects that I hesitated for a week after I bought them. I am Thrilled with them! I weigh only once a week on Sat. mornings- I started on 2/22/08 friday night with Alli- on 3/1/08 I had lost 5 pounds & I am not watching what I eat that much. No problems with the side effects (even when I eat french fries)! They tell you to keep your meals to 15 grams of fat or less- I haven’t been (although I do try to eat healthier). I would recommend to anyone but I do have a strong stomach.
    Good luck!!

I used to feel the same way, that I just couldnt give up the food I love but sooner or later if you really want to make a change in the way you look you need to give up some of it. I am the biggest chocoholic but I wanted to shed a little weight and now I only have a little on the weekends. Diet pills are only temporary fixes to a healthy lifestyle. You say you cant stop eating bad food and dessert but the thing is you can. Dont buy it, get rid of it today!!! throw it out!! The longer you wait the harder it is. I swear I lost 6 pounds this month alone by adding more veggies and leaving my dessert for Saturday. Its easy

Alli causes malabsorption, meaning you dont get all the nutrients out of you food, uncontrollable bowel movements, oily rectal discharge, and a long list of other stuff
